摘要

This paper presents the dynamic modeling and simulation of a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) driven by wind turbine connected with cascaded converters. A doubly fed induction generator is basically a standard, wound rotor induction machine with its stator windings directly connected to the grid and its rotor windings connected to the grid through converters. Vector control technique is used to obtain decoupled control for powers. This paper investigates on the performance of DFIG with cascaded SPWM inverters. The total harmonic distortion has been calculated with different converters. The model is developed in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
