摘要

This article presents a novel algorithm to make wideband spectrum sensing in Cognitive Radio (CR)systems based on Compressive Sensing (CS), which permits to cognitive users to sense the spectrum without need fora priori knowledge of signal characteristics in the radio environment, minimizing the amount of samples to process.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method permits carrying out spectrum sensing efficiently,improving the performance of sensing in function of the detection probability and of the receptor’s operationalcharacteristics with respect to other algorithms proposed based on sub-Nyquist sampling.
