A SIMPLE AND STRAIGHTFORWARD SYNTHESIS OF ANTIHISTAMINIC DRUG CETIRIZINE

摘要

The anti-histaminc drug cetirizine was synthesized in five linear steps withan overall yield of 50%. All the reactions were very clean and the isolation of productsalso very easy. Our synthetic strategy was applicable to large scale preparation ofcetirizine.
