摘要

Actuality of materials is devoted to the problem of correspondence the level of teachers of English preparation to the requirements which are put forward by informative space. In the article the blog is considered as an environment for professional development of teachers of English in graduate teacher education. Also it is considered the possibility of using a blog as an environment for organization of continuous improvement of teacher professional level. The paper presents some aspects of creating and maintaining a blog for which the functions and criteria for its evaluation are identified. Investigated the attitudes of teachers of English to blog use in their professional activities as means for their professional competence developing.
