Local authorities in Yemen (1963-2002). First components of a legal study This article addresses the various legislated laws concerning local cooperatives in North Yemen and then in unified Yemen, from the 1962 Revolution until the legistation in 2000. ?The article reveals the ambiguities and the limits of “decentralization” in a nation whose construction is far from achieved.
