Artikkelen unders?ker bildebokadaptasjonen av animasjonsfilmen Min bestemor str?k kongens skjorter. Den sammenligner ”fortellingen om krigen” og m?ten den blir fortalt p? i film og bildebok, og dr?fter det retoriske potensialet i mediespesifikke uttrykksformer for de to teksttypene, spesielt med tanke p? at de henvender seg til barn.This article investigates a picture book adaptation of the animated film My Grandmother ironed the King's Shirts . Thus, two versions of a story from World War II made by the Norwegian author, illustrator and film producer Torill Kove are compared. The focus is on the rhetorical potential of the two media text types and art forms with a special consideration about the address to children.
