摘要

The hippocampus has been considered as a key structure of brain to cognize the spatial environment. In accordance with the function of the hippocampal spatial cell and the hippocampal information transmission circuit, constructing the model of robot navigation based on cognitive mechanism of hippocampus is a hotspot and difficulty at present research of bionic robot navigation. The paper reviews the mechanism of hippocampus in the process of environment cognition, and then summarizes the research progress of the biomimetic robot navigation model which based of the hippocampal spatial cognitive mechanism, finally discusses the new research direction of robot navigation model which is the imitation of the hippocampal cognitive mechanism.
