Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC)

Our mission is to provide global surface deployment command and control and distribution operations to meet National Security objectives in peace and war. SDDC is the Warfighter's single surface deployment/distribution provider for adaptive and flexible solutions that deliver capability and sustainment on time. In support of American forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have synchronized nearly 400 vessel operations and the related land movement by truck, rail, and barge. While this is a huge commitment, it represents only a portion of our total global workload of surface operations. Our focus is the Warfighter, touching every Soldier, Sailor, Airman, and Marine in the US military.
