About 10 years ago, eSim Games released the original 'Steel Beasts? computer game, simulating two main battle tanks with unheard of fidelity for a commercial game at that time. Among the first army institutions to appreciate the potential of serious games for training was the Danish army, which was challenged with an all-round modernisation of their combat vehicles and training methods at that time. eSim Games was awarded a series of contracts to customise the software, expanding both the scope and level of fidelity of the existing solution.
