The application of MODAF

JCSys Enterprise Architecture (EA) consultants have played a pivotal role in the application of model-based capability development and the adoption of MODAF within the Swedish Armed Forces (SAF) and are regarded as experts in their field, with a proven reputation for delivering usable, high-quality EAs.One such project was the SAF Close Air Support (CAS) Requirements EA. The key deliverable was a MODAF compliant EA. Its purpose was to:1. Describe the Swedish CAS capability both nationally and internationally;2. Inform the Materiel/Systems Development planning;3. Support the SAF in the requirements development process;4. Identify CAS Information Exchange Requirements;5. Contribute to an improved organisational memory by improved traceability and visibility.
