The modernisation of Single Living Accommodation (SLA) progressed a step further in June with the completion of a ￡1.2m scheme at Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Culdrose, near Helston in Cornwall. In seven months a schedule of refurbishment works saw improvements in accommodation standards range from the modernisation of plumbing and lighting systems to the application of energy-saving technologies including smart light sensors.
