Foundation training for UAS

Over the last 10 years, the capability of unmanned platforms has expanded dramatically. Developments in technology have led to a new generation of vehicle and sensor capabilities, ranging from armed five tonne jet unmanned combat air vehicles (UCAVs) to sub-lkg electric quad-rotors. The capabilities that these vehicles have introduced into the military arena have been no less than revolutionary, and in a similar way to the internet and the mobile phone, defence planners and strategists cannot now envisage life without unmanned air systems (UASs).
