It's Tulip's first time into the Top 20; the key parameters that made it happen include salary hikes, and employee growth opportunities and their average tenure. The company though needs to work on its employee score. Till about two years back HR was a mere extension of Tulip's administrative wing. However, the company now seems to have realized the importance of putting HR processes in place. Tulip launched its online appraisal and formal induction programs last year. It increased efforts toward employee engagement, fun-at-work programs, safety measures, insurance policies including medi-Claim and so on.
