Cytogenetic Features of Tetraploid Pollunators of Sugar Beet

Cytogenetic monitoring and analysis of the morphological features of plants of an artificially created tetraploid population (C_5) of sugar beet plants is conducted. Four types of tetraploids are selected based on the quality of the pollen. It is shown that the seed of tetraploid hybrids obtained from pollination of diploids by tetraploidal forms with type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ pollen is distinguished by an increase in seed vigor and germinating force.
