Comment: From Time Intuition to Diagrammatic Forms-Intuitionism and Formalism

The goal of the following text it is to connect the thinking and formalization developed in Laws of Form to a meta-theoretical, epistemological discussion that was raised in mathematics and logics at the beginning of the twentieth century as a controversy between so-called formalistic and so-called intuitionistic attitudes and methodologies towards mathematical and logical objects. In this connection we want to demonstrate, in which respect Laws of Form contains a further development of intuitionistic thinking and what are its consequences for the general epistemological discussion of formalism and intuitionism Finally we want to pose the question, whether it could be legitimate to assume a general reciprocity between formalism and intuitionism in foundations of mathematics in particular, in epistemology in general.
