The question asked when people look at ECNZ is: how is this once monopolistic, government-owned power generator adapting to change and to a competitive environment? "Very fast," insists Dave Frow, ECNZ's chief executive. "ECNZ has become very proficient at managing change. In the last nine years we have been involved actively in change, change processes, promoting change in the industry and changing our culture. I think we've become quite good at it."
