A New Radiosport Book, Contest Activities at This Year's Dayton Hamvention~®, and March Contests

March is a very busy month for radiosport, with three major contests on the calendar that take advantage of equinox propagation conditions. The ARRL DX phone contest runs March 5 from 0000 UTC through March 6 at 2359 UTC. See discussion of the rules last month. This is followed by the increasingly-popular Russian DX Contest (RDXC), which offers phone, CW, or phone & CW categories for the 24 hours between 1200 UTC March 21 and 1159 UTC March 22. The month ends with the ever-popular phone leg of CQ Magazine's CQWW WPX contest from 0000 UTC March 26 through 2359 UTC March 27. CW will be May 28-29 UTC.
