The organization of wastewater disposal is a must for all operators, not only for technical and economic reasons. But also because a great number of legal provisions and techni- cal rules stipulate that a whole range of standards must be met by a properly functioning wastewater engineering plant. The organization of wastewater disposal must not only take into account the actual plant operations, but it must also meet additional requirements, like for example compliance with permits and conditions, safety at work and environmental protection provisions, quality assurance, preparation for and coping with emergencies, as well as physical protection of the plant.
