Balfour Beatty expects to find more than £50 million in savings across seven major infrastructure projects by reusing material waste from sites. The UK's largest contractor has won several major projects with bids that include the establishment of recycling hubs to divert material from waste. Balfour Beatty is currently employed by the Highways Agency on the M25, A421 Bedford, A46 Newark and A3 Hindhead projects where it has diverted almost eight million tonnes of waste from landfill to be used in construction.
