Former Taylor Woodrow boss remembered

Former Taylor Woodrow chief executive Sir Frank Gibb has died aged 85. Tributes were paid to Sir Frank, who joined Taylor Woodrow as a graduate and worked his way up to become group chief executive. He will be remembered for his keen interest in the recruitment of young people to the industry. Sir Frank joined the firm as a graduate engineer from Loughborough University in 1948 and retired half a century later, having worked his way up the ranks to lead the company as a group managing director, the group chief executive and finally, in 1985, as group chairman.
