Less weighty lighting to lower transport costs

Italian manufacturer Tower Light is set to unveil a lighter and more compact lighting tower designed to reduce transport costs. Weighing 450 kg and with closed dimensions of 1.1 m × 1.1 m × 2.5 m, the new CTF10M lighting tower is said to be built to withstand the rigours of the rental trade and be easy to set-up, while 24 will fit on one truck. The unit has a 10 m manually operated mast that can be rotated through 360 degrees, as well as four height-adjustable outriggers with loading/unloading lifting points for forklifts and cranes. It can be specified with four 1,000 W halogen lamps, four 400 W metal halide bulbs or two 150 W LED light heads.The LED version has its own petrol generator. The others require a separate electricity supply.
