Wates secures £141m office schemes

Wates has been appointed to two mixed-use office schemes in Leeds and London worth a combined £141m. Roydhouse Properties (Central Square)/Marrico has appointed Wates to its £100m Central Square development on Wellington Street in Leeds. The li-storey office scheme won planning permission from Leeds City Council in March and work will commence next month, followed by a build programme of around 100 weeks. Situated between Whitehall Road and Wellington Street on the former Royal Mail site, the 220,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme includes 11 storeys of flexible Grade A office space, retail and leisure facilities.
