The breadth of features and configurations of Guntert & Zimmerman's new S600 multi-purpose slipform paver are claimed by the company to make it the most versatile tool in any paving fleet. The company said that the S600 sets a new standard for rapid maneuverability and paver reconfiguration, giving the contractor significantly more paving time during a day. The S600 has been engineered for tasks including airport and mainline paving, barrier walls and canal lining. The machine is designed to pave widths from 6feet 6inches to 29feet 5inches (2m-9m) and its maneuverability is achieved due to its 90° steering while the machine features rollers and hydraulic clamping pucks that eliminate the need for bolted adjusted clamping plates.
