Extending Liebherr's telescopic range

Liebherr's new LTR 1060 extends the company's range of telescopic crawler cranes. The LTR range is designed to combine the advantages of a telescopic crane with those of a crawler crane. The 66.5US tons (60tonnes) LTR 1060's 131foot (40m) telescopic boom is claimed to go beyond that of others currently available in the size class both in terms of load capacity and boom length. In addition, the telescopic boom can be extended with a double swing-away jib from 31 feet to 52feet (9.5m to 16m) in length, which enables heights-under-hook of up to 179feet (54.5m) and reaches of up to 157feet (48m).
