Debut for Gradoll's Series IV

Gradall Industries will introduce the Series IV Gradall excavators at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011. Featured will be the XL 4100 IV model. The XL 3100 IV and XL 5100 IV models are being updated too, all equipped with Gradall's wheeled undercarriages that can be driven at speeds up to 55mph. Each of the models has a new Mercedes Tier 4 engine. The company says that the new engine is highly efficient and meets all the new government emission standards. The middle model of the three, the XL 4100 IV, has an engine producing 245hp (182kW) net. More than 80% of the service parts on each machine are interchangeable, simplifying inventory processes. Other new features will include a more powerful electrical system with high visibility LED lighting.
