Case Construction Equipment recently donated a specially modified skid-steer loader to the Chicago Children's Museum, located in the city's Navy Pier complex. The skid-steer resides in the (Museum's Skyline Exhibit, where children have hands-on access to nuts and bolts and miniature girders for building skyscrapers. Case, along with National Science Foundation, is a major sponsor of the exhibit and now has added a dimension of realism with an actual machine. "The Skyline Exhibit allows children to imagine themselves as engineers and architects," says Jennifer Farrington, the Museum's president and CEO, "and the Case skid-steer gives them added opportunity to immerse themselves in an authentic experience." Case's Ion Warner, senior director, marketing, conducted the ribbon-cutting ceremony, assisted by a young assistant in a yellow hardhat.
