A summary of the months primary machine introductions and model changes

Six replacement models and two updated models comprise the new D Series Cat compact track loader line. Replacement models include 257D, 277D, and 287D MTLs and 259D, 279D, and 289D CTLs. The largest D Series models, the 299D and 299D XHP CTLs, have been given the series' new cab and a new lift arm design. The cab is of one-piece modular design that allows doubling the cab pressur-ization from the previous models. The Advanced Display control monitor expands the number of security codes to 50, and can store and recall the operating preferences of that number of operators. Lift arms now have a tubular design that improves sight lines.
