The 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron Holloman Air Force Base (49 LRS) is the first Department of Defense fleet to be recognized as a Gold-certified Green Fleet by AEMP. Currently, the 49 LRS diesel equipment fleet meets all governmental requirements for emissions, as well as the high level of criteria required by AEMP for Gold certification in the Green Fleet program. "Our Airmen have been striving to ensure our unit stays at the forefront of technology and environmental stewardship," said Gabriel Hage, chief master sergeant, 49 LRS. The 49 LRS provides com- prehensive logistics support to include deployment/ distribution management, fuels management, material management and vehicle management functions sustaining the 49 WG and 26 associate units. The squadron executes deployment command and control of Holloman's F-22A/MQ-1/MQ-9 fleet and 2,600+ Unit Type Codes. The team manages a $381 million supply account; a 974-vehicle fleet; 4,800 mobility bags; 2,800 weapons, and $31 million in fuel transactions annually.
