Swiss forecasts stabilised this month, with some minor improvements to the national accounts outlookfor 2009. GDP rose by 0.1 percentage point from last month, private consumption by 0.1% and gross fixed investment by 0.6%. Consumer price forecasts remain downbeat on a further weakening of the US dollar putting pressure on the Swiss franc and hence reducing the prices of imports.
