Oil and gas cutbacks are noticeably impacting on Norwegian exports this year. Goods exports plunged by around 17% (y-o-y) in May and pushed the trade surplus down to NKr6.6bn from NKr21.5bn in May 2015. Crude oil exports dropped by 23.6% (y-o-y) in the first five months of the year.
