As far as the UK is concerned, the Food Standards Agency plays its role in monitoring production quality issues, yet on a global level, systems of industrial monitoring vary considerably between markets.One aspect that can heavily influence product safety is that of design and operation of equipment used within confectionery and bakery markets. This has undergone considerable advances over the past decade, to include ever more levels of automation and process monitoring to enable greater production efficiency.
