BAUMA 2004 in Munich (29.03.2004 to 04.04.2004) was looked forward to with equally great expectations by the construction and construction-materials industries, as well as the industrial-machine segments serving these areas. The trade fair, to a great extent, satisfied the expectations of all. A considerable flow of visitors passed through the halls and the open-air grounds, already during the initial days of the event. The large number of trade visitors from outside Germany was indeed surprising, coming from a total of 171 countries. This observation was also confirmed by all the exhibitors of dosing technology, one of whom made the telling remark: "BAUMA was vibrant and internationally attended. We are satisfied."%Der BAUMA 2004 in München (29.03.2004 bis 04.04.2004) sahen die Bau- und Baustoffindustrie sowie die Bau- und Baustoffmaschinenindustrie mit gleich hohen Erwartungen entgegen. Die Messe erfüllte die Erwartungshaltung weitgehend. Bereits in den ersten Veranstaltungstagen ergoss sich ein beachtlicher Zuschauerstrom durch die Hallen und auf dem Freigelände. Erstaunlich warder hohe Anteil ausländischer Fachleute, insgesamt aus 171 Ländern. Diese Feststellung bestätigen auch sämtliche Ausstellerfirmen mit Exponaten für die Dosiertechnik, ergänzt durch den Zusatz: „Die BAUMA war belebt und international besucht. Wir sind zufrieden!"
