Given a nonsingular central matrix Ac,a central vector b_c and a prescribed interval solution vector x~1, it is required to find the maximum allowable deviation ΔA or Δb so that the solution of the interval linear system A~x=b~1 is contained in X~1 . special cases for ΔA and Δb are considered and bounds on the entries of A~1 and b~1 are obtained either in a closed form, whenever possible, or via solving a spcially designed constrained optimization problem.
