Motivation, Awareness,and Perceptions of Computational Science

Scientific researchers are increasingly using computational science (CS) to extend their capabilities and, as a consequence, their findings. Computing has enabled scientific breakthroughs in molecular biology by breaking the genetic code, in atmospheric sciences by improving weather forecasting, and nanotechnology by simulating nano-devices, among others.
