Linux Audio Conference

The Linux Audio Conference took place 12-15 April 2012 in Stanford, California, USA, at Stanford University's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics. This year, 2012, marked the tenth anniversary of the event and the first time the conference was held in the United States. Attendees were a mixture of academics and audio professionals, many of them members of the Linux-Audio-Users and Linux-Audio-Developers international online communities. Members of these communities were invited before the conference to submit original audio soundtracks for the conference's online video trailer, and the winning soundtrack was chosen by majority vote.
