Russian hackers hit news sites with anti-Western comments

Kremlin-backed gangs have been leaving comments on Western news websites to promote views favourable to Russia, researchers have claimed. Analysis by Cardiff University Crime and Security Research Institute found hackers targeted 32 popular sites across 16 countries, including Mail Online, the Express and the Times in the UK.
