Electromagnetic safety of an induction heating power supply

Switched mode power conversion systems have been widely used in recent years because of their high efficiency, small size and weight. But they are rich sources of electromagnetic interference (EMI) due to the square pulses, which are full of high frequency components, used for the switching action. On the other hand, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) has become more important in recent years due to the international standards developed for the emissions from different types of electronic devices.
