Untersuchungen zum Vorkommen von Campylobacter spp. in verschiedenen Lebensmitteln

To assess the occurrence of Campylobacter in foodstuffs in the north-western part of Switzerland, a total of 383 food samples were analysed between 2000 and 2001 for the presence of Campylobacter. Campylobacter were detected in two out of 40 (5 %) raw porc, in 40 out of 64 (62,5 %) samples of raw poultry, in 12 out of 19 (63,2 %) samples of chicken liver as well as in one out of 30 (3,3 %) raw milk samples. However, no Campylobacter. were detectable in 40 samples of raw beef, in 40 samples of raw lamb and in 150 samples of eggs. All Campylobacter-isolates were
