INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH AND GLOBALIZATION

摘要

This essay examines the implications of conducting interdisciplinary research in globalization. It emphasizes the need for transnational interdisciplinary practices that ethically remain aware of the inequalities of globalization that continually inform intellectual practices, especially in the West/North. The overall goal of the essay is to invite communication scholars to reflect on, and rethink, the (U.S.)-centered orientations that often inform interdisciplinary research in the field, especially when considered in the context of inequalities of globalization.
