Not everyone has licence renewal problems

I am writing in response to the difficulty some of your readers are experiencing in the renewal of their licences (CM 13 October). I have now reached 65 years of age and aftei a medical and an eye test earlier this month I returned my application to the DVLA and received my licence back within four days. I think this is incredible given the difficulties that some of your readers are experiencing.
