America is witnessing a new "make money without even trying" auto-surf program phenomenon that some claim is a fraud. If it is, its one of the most clever ever seen. AdSurfDaily Inc - ASD Cash Generator (ASD), a website ad-selling scheme is, according to the company, a "gateway to financial independence." But at least one insider says it is a Ponzi-type fraud that is inevitably moving towards collapse; and one that will hurt thousands who do not fully understand the program or the financial numbers provided. The US Secret Service refers to this type of Ponzi scheme as an auto-surf program, a form of online advertising that claims to generate revenue from so-called 'advertisers' who pay fees to have their websites displayed to other viewers through the 'host's' web-based operation. In the scheme, the host generates most, if not all, of its funding from membership fees, and therefore must use money received from later advertisers to pay rebates to earlier advertisers.
