Mastercard developing European Cyber Resilience Centre

MASTERCARD is developing its first European CyberResilience Centre, a state-of-the-art cyber and securitycentre in Europe that will drive collaboration between bothpublic and private sectors, as well as regulatory bodies tofurther support enterprise resilience in the region.Located in Waterloo, Belgium at Mastercard’s EuropeanHeadquarters, the centre is the first of its kind that thecompany has invested in outside of North America.Mastercard said the move is part of its ongoingcommitment to addressing threats faced by the Europeanpayments’ ecosystem, including financial institutions andFinTechs. The facility will serve as a single cybersecurityhub for the region.
