The Plethora of Cyber Security Issues that Remain Dangerously Unaddressed by a Great Majority of Organizations Has Created a Dire Need to Formulate a Plan of Attack that Addresses Priorities, Assigns Responsibility for Execution and Increase Badly Needed Resources

The previous issue of COM-SAC focused on the many major adverse cyber-attacks that took place during the year 2020 and how not only their occurrence is spilling into 2021 but new major attacks and threats are taking place from global perpetrators, many of which may be country sponsored. The magnitude, complexity and major and costly disruptions inflicted upon, not only the organizations that were attacked but the plethora of customers and ultimately the public they serve, has been nothing short of catastrophic. The adverse effects felt by many organizations and the customers they serve derives from the "supply chain" dependence of organizations which ultimately impacts their customers.
