Your June 2009 issue was of great interest because of the [Buick] Y-Job and your brief discussion of Francis Davis and power steering, and the patents associated with it.rnBack in 1973 or 74, I bought a 1951 Chrysler Saratoga at a car meet held at Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, Massachusetts. I bought the car from Everett Dickinson, the owner of the Rand Press here in Boston, the publisher of a publication called The Bulb Horn [the organ of the Veteran Motor Car Club of America]. When I went to pick up the Chrysler at his home, he told me at the next meet he would introduce me to the father of power steering, Francis W. Davis.
