1953-56 Ford Light-Duty Trucks: 'Driverized Cabs' and 'Triple Economy'

Doubt hung over the Ford Motor Company in the mid Forties. Some people in the automobile industry weren't sure that the company would be able to overcome all of its structural problems and remain a viable entity in the post-World War Ⅱ years. Those doubts were, of course, dispelled with an injection of new-blood leadership from new company president Henry Ford II; his brothers; and the management experts, engineers, and stylists they brought in to Dearborn. Within a few years they tasted success with a modern and well-received lineup of 1949 passenger cars and, perhaps more importantly for today's Ford Motor Company the first F-Series trucks.
