Get With The Program

I spent two afternoons with 23 sixth-grade students this past week as a guest speaker in a Career Day program the Virginia school system hosts each year. In the few short hours we spent together, it became clear these students are the crafters and artists of tomorrow. It occurred to me, each of us in the craft industry has the opportunity to shape and nurture the size and scope of this future market by the time and resources we invest today.
