One Trip to Wal-Mart and Three Trips to Craft & Sewing Stores

On October 31,2001, movers delivered 105 boxes and five rooms of furniture to my daughter's new home. Sue's the single mom of Steve, age five, and Matt, age lO.The boys personally packed 24 of the boxes with toys, rocks, crumpled artwork, sand and unnamed things that only young boys collect and treasure. My husband Bill and I supervised the delivery and furniture placement while Sue attended the closing of the sale. Early the next morning our younger daughter, Robin, arrived to help, and Bill rewired a light in the attic that could only be lighted by crawling through a hole in the ceiling of the laundry room. (One of the strangest set-ups I've ever seen since the pull-down stairs to the attic are in the hallway, 20 feet from the laundry room.)
