Coffee, tea or one of over 1,000 different yarns in stock-quite a choice! Identifying herself as a "recovering accountant," Yarn Garden owner, Linda Carter, loves what she does everyday. She likes to describe her store as one out-of-towner once referred to it: the mothership of yarn stores. Carter has always been fascinated with wool-from raising sheep to spinning and weaving. She also has an extensive collection of sheep, many of which can be found in the store displays and windows settings. So, it was a natural outgrowth for her to open a yarn store when she became disenchanted with accounting. Now she's surrounded by woolly treasures from around the world-many from Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
