IMW produces first utensil washer to appear in the UK government's Water Technology List

The inclusion of IWM's EDi utensil washers in the government's Water Technology List means that the machines qualify for the Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) scheme operated by the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). As a result, 100% of the equipment's capital cost can be offset against corporation tax in the first year.rnThis achievement, along with the recent installation of a tray washer system for A F Blakemore & Son, which resulted in a dramatic 89% reduction in waste, won IWM an award for best Environmental Initiative in the UK Food Processing Awards 2009 in March.
