Process Digitization for BIM Implementation in a Microenterprise

Building Information Management (BIM) seeks the structured digitization of all necessary data and its IT-supported use over the entire lifecycle of the building. The current initiatives for the development of guidelines for the BIM processes focus on the modeling of the chronological sequence and the communication on the Big-BIM scale without dealing with the manner of increasing the degree of digitization of the processes. A challenge for the German AEC sector, which is characterized by a relatively low digital index, is to support not only,individual BIM tasks but complete BIM processes through IT solutions.
